Each photo is treated with care, using museum quality, archival materials. Upon receipt the original photo is examined closely and scanned. You are consulted to better understand the history of the photo and your vision for the restored photo. Discussions about size, color, special effects, and prints are conducted. The electronic, scanned photo is restored with skill and care using Adobe Photoshop software. This involves repairing tears, stains and missing parts, restoring color and contrast, resizing when needed, and adding any special effects when requested. Extra care is taken to retain the charm of the original, old photo. You receive your original and restored photo, along with a Preservation Photo CD and a print. Instruction is provided about photo care and handling.

The company uses only archival quality inks, photo papers and fine art papers. Print permanence is affected by many factors: some environmental like light, humidity, temperature and pollutants. There is not a precise answer to how long your photos will last. With proper care your restored photos will last many, many decades and much longer than standard photo prints.
