Standard Restoration

The original photo was 1 ¼ by 1 ½ inches and about 70 years old. It was very dark with many deep scratches and tears. The original was scanned and resized to 5 x 7 inches. The restoration challenge was to lighten the photo enough to enjoy the freckles while not showing too much of the background scratches.
